Ask Emma - Beauty Cosmetics Professional Advice > Which Dermalogica moisturiser should I get for my skin type
Kirsty
It's great to hear that Dermalogica are working well to treat your skin condition. Active moist is not enough for your skin type and yes you are correct, skin smoothing cream should do the job for you. If your eczema is quite itchy and irritated you may like to try Barrier repair. It can be used as a moisturiser or over your moisturiser for extra protection from harsh environments. In addition the Cooling Protection Spray is excellent to calm and soothe irritated skin.
Everybody's skin is unique and you often have to try and test some products yourself to find that correct balance, but as I said before Dermalogica definitely seem to react well with your skin and are effective in treating your condition. You should find that Skin Smoothing Cream is ideal for your skin at the moment, but don't forget your skin's needs will change over time and seasons have a huge effect on it, so don't be surprised if you opt for the intensive moisture balance or something else again in the future.
The great thing about Dermalogica is that they offer a broad range of products and we as therapists can completely personalise all treatments and product prescriptions for each individual.
I hope that this has been helpful to you. Please do let me know how you go with the Skin Smoothing Cream and keep the other products I suggested in mind also.
Take Care Kirsty and thanks for your interest in Beauty Connections.

HI, I have quite dry skin as I suffer from eczema and have found dermalogica products to work well for me although recently the intensive moisture balance has become too thick and has started to make my skin too greasy. I have also tried active moist but this has made my skin too dry again! Would the skin smoothing cream from the dermalogica range suit me better?
